We are pleased to announce that the 3rd AustralasianWound and Tissue Repair Society Conference will be held in the magnificent harbour city of Sydney. This conference incorporates both basic and clinical research dealing with tissue repair and regeneration. Understanding the way the body recognises and responds to injury is an exciting and ever evolving area of research. The conference provides a valuable platform for scientists and clinicians to discuss the exciting advances in this area in basic and applied research, to exchange new data, and progress the application of cutting edge materials and technologies to wound healing and tissue repair.

The conference will include sessions on:

Cellular Mechanisms of Tissue Repair
Fibrosis, Scarring and Burns
Diabetes and Chronic Wounds
Inflammation
Regeneration
Emerging Technologies and Biomaterials

The second day of the conference (May 24th) will be held in conjunction with the
Australian Society for Dermatology Research (ASDR) conference.

In keeping with our Society’s commitment to heightened professional and educational outcomes for all Members, a half-day, pre-conference Masterclass begins the program (May 22nd) and will provide a unique forum for graduate students and early career postdocs to present their data and exchange ideas in a friendly, relaxed environment.
