    The Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services seeks to appoint a Community Podiatrist to join the welcoming and supportive team at the Devonport Community Health Centre.

    This role is required to provide a high standard of Podiatric service to patients of the North West Area Health Service, work with other service providers in the local community to enable an early intervention, assessment and support program for the relevant district/s, and participate as a member in the continued development of the North West Area Podiatry/Foot Health Service.

    The Podiatry team comprises five enthusiastic Podiatrists and a Foot Care Therapy Assistant. Our focus is on clients with high risk lower limb conditions, chronic conditions, biomechanical, paediatric and dermatological foot conditions. There is also a strong health promotion component to this work. You would have a varied working environment, encompassing both community health centres and regional hospitals in this scenic area of North West Tasmania.
