Hi All, I was wondering whether anyone uses or has tried the Practice Bee software for practice management? I just had an online demo and it looks good... Any comments or feedback greatly appreciated.

Hi, We have been using Practice Bee for around 2 years and it works well. We have multiple stations and Podiatrists on the network and have never had a problem with it. It is very customisable and is packed with heaps of very clever functions that seem to think of everything. I am not sure what else is available now but I haven't been able to find any faults or anything that needs improving so I would suggest it would still be worth looking at.

We've been using it for almost 2 years also and i have to say, my experience differs. We've found it's interface complicated and frustrating. Support has been slow and on several occasions have been left without a solution to ongoing issues. We've had to go to great lengths to get any sort of training at all and it's taken us almost 2 years of regular requests to get a manual, on paper, so we can train ourselves and even then it's filled with obselete information that is incorrect of about 10 updates ago.

If i had my time over i'd spend more money and go with Front desk - no question.

Would definitely agree with the lack of training/support, so if that is what you need then there is probably better options available. I have never been a big fan of support anyway, always like to figure things out myself (probably why I never seem to have much time lately).

We use TM2 in our practice and it works very very well with excellent support. Practice Bee we looked at a few years ago and it had some very promising features though!!! Best take these things for a test drive before purcahse.

Hey Paul, how does the TM2 system work? Was pretty vague on the website.

CT75

My clinic purchased PracticeBee and after two days of going live reverted back to our old program. As stated by CFC and Lukepod the program was buggy (the version we were given did not do rounding of 5 cents on the bills making it impossible to reconcile our accounts), difficult to use and fixes were very slow. It took them the best part of a month to tell us they had a fix for it. My business could not operate with a program that was not tested properly before being released to us.

In the end we changed to Front Desk and are very happy.

What kind of prices are we talking about for the full setup for a podiatry clinic using practice bee? Obviously I am extremely happy with my own setup, but I always enjoy seeing what other software packages can offer so I can see what my current provider can come up with.
