I was wondering if anyone has done this course:
MSc Podiatry with Clinical Biomechanics with Brighton University?
I've found that I could combine this with getting a POMS certificate.
This would sort out my CPD for the next few years.
What were your experiences?
How did you rate the Biomechanics modules? This is what I'm most interested in.
Were they useful? Especially for private practice.
How difficult was the course?
How much studying was there?
Did the university e-library have all the journals you needed?
I did the top up degree at Brighton and found the e materials were all there I needed. I also found all the tutors I encountered to be fine. I don't know who the tutors would be for the course you describe.
I suspect that the work load wil be considerable and that it might be worth playing with a few of Kevins Thought Experiments to see how you feel about getting your head around some of the math and concepts of modern biomechanics. If you find those relatively doable then an MSc in it might be a way forward.
