If the heels of your shoes wear down, you will most likely end up in chronic musculoskeletal pain..
See, the barefoot runners have it right!
Quote:
If the heels are worn out (consumed) on the outer side (See Photo 1), this is an indication that you have an inherited, abnormal foot structure known as the Rothbarts Foot. This common foot structure predisposes you to chronic muscle and joint pain.
Right....

So to NOT be doomed to a lifetime of agony, just don't walk on the heels of your shoes. Simples
"The story so far: As usual, Ginger and I are engaged on our quest to find out what the hell is going on and save humanity from my nemesis, some bastard who is presumably responsible."
There are not many eejits who describe something as "rothbarts foot". Its our Brian. I still get the newsletter every month which I always enjoy. Find out what diseases he's curing this month.

I have greatly benefited from Rothbart's information on inherited foot but there is a tendency to see everything as inherited overlooking the adapted foot.
In my work heel wear can just as likely come from hip or spine distortion as foot distortion. Spine distortion often fallows foot distortion whether inherited or traumatic. Foot distortion often fallows spine distortion.
Therefore i agree lets help people stop waking on their heels. Rocking shoes anyone? Worked great for one of my clients. stopped jarring the fusion in his neck.
