Default Seminario Internacional De Patologia Del Pie, Zaragoza, Spain

We just got into Zaragoza, Spain, this evening for a very impressive looking seminar for January 27, 28, & 29 , the Seminario Internacional De Patologia Del Pie. There are 23 lecturers scheduled to speak over the three-day seminar and it looks like quite a good international representation with many interesting surgical and biomechanics lectures planned.

I'm lecturing on the "Biomechanics of the Foot and Lower Extermity During Running", "Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome", "Biomechanics and Orthosis Treatment of Pediatric Flatfoot Deformity", "Ten Biomechanical Functions of the Plantar Fascia" and on "Foot Orthoses: Theory and Research Evidence" during the last two days of the seminar. Lectures seem quite clinically oriented for both the conservative and surgical podiatrist.

Javier Pascual Huerta, PhD, my interpreter for the meeting, (thanks for picking us up from the train stataion, Javier) tells me that Spanish podiatrists have made great strides since I was last here in Spain to lecture in 2004. It would be helpful for all of us English speaking podiatrists for one of the more knowledgeable Spanish podiatrists to come on to this thread and explain how things have changed for them with their podiatry practices over the past decade.

Congratulations to the Colegio de Podologos de Aragon for organizing such a ambitious seminar for the podiatry community of Spain! Excelente!
