2nd year student needs help

Hi
I am a mature 2nd year student and have panic attacks re clinic assessment at end of year.

when I am on my own or with friends answer question feels ok, I do not know if this cause we make it too easy or just not asking right questions. I manage paper exams well, I think this cause you have time to work out answer and can choose the order you answer questions. Any way I am looking for some one to help me understand more what is required from us, how to shine. I am not looking for some one just to give me the answers and I learn them parrot fashion.

So if you have time for a poor wee student, or have some good advise please help
