Recently my friend was playing tennis and injured her right heel, however now her left heel is getting painful too. This was five weeks ago and the pain still sometimes presents when playing sports when the right heel comes in contact with the ground. I gave gel inserts to wear for both heels and also advised on rest, ice compression etc. There has been no x-ray carried out but I am now increasingly worried about an AT rupture. I would appreciate any feedback on this case as I am in my final year and biomechanics and sports injuries is not my strongest point. Thanks. :)
