Please be weary of these posts they often sounds much better than what they are. 50% is a lot money especially when you have to pay your own super, tax ect. Its much cheaper in the long run to set up on your own. Just wanted to put it out there for any new grads.

Thank you members for your valuable contributions! I don't think threads of warnings or witty banter are called for when this is obviously a serious business opportunity.
Regardless of what prior negative experiences exist with anything that resembles a business opportunity, its not warranted (and in fact detrimental) to place that thought in anyone's mind before investigating the opportunity.
This is an honest invitation to a motivated podiatrist. The remuneration of 50% is legitimate, and the current practitioner earns in excess of $1200/week currently at 3 days.
The practices needs a driven individual to take it to the next level - where the potential lies in a multi practioner system where the principal podiatrist commands a passive stream of income. Obviously to get to this point will take some time and motivation, however the immediate income is there.
I do not agree with funding your own set up as either easier or cheaper, and have many years experience as an owner. Certainly only a rare few practice owners can pay themselves 50% of their gross turnover (good luck if they can), and more importantly very few practices can allow the principal a generous passive stream without many years of financial investment, practice growth and system development....
I would encourage anyone considering becoming a practice owner to enquire about this opportunity as it may not present to be as scary as what is assumed!
