Default What does FTC stand for?

Podiatry Arena members do not see these ads
Hi all Ive been reading one of my colleagues medical notes and when talking of cryosurgery treatment she has written 3XFTC.......does anyone know what FTC stands for?

By the by; tissue destruction in Cryo works by inducing cell lysis, but may not be enough to produce the relevant cytokines to destroy latent viral particles in adjacent cells (Bristow & Styles, 2011*), hence the high recurrence rate.

The results of the latest Cochrane review (2009) of 60 trials stated that evidence of VP treatment studies was generally weak (due to poor methodology and reporting). Cryotherapy, in particular, was noted as “surprisingly” lacking in evidence of efficacy and evidence of the remaining treatments as “limited”.
