Hello all, just a quick question relating to reregistration in Victoria: does anyone know what the expected time for processing reregistration after a one year hiatus? I have put the question forward via e-mail and was told that no time parameters could be given. I am somewhat concerned as this response wont allow me to make significant plans regarding my future possible employment. Any thoughts guys and gals? Would love some input on this, thanks in advance, Paul.

Dear Paul
There is no such thing as a state or territory registration.
Podiatry along with 14 other professions is through the National accred/ APHRA is the body to approach

been an absolutely fantastic day here
Sorry Paul, I have gone through with AHPRA and paid the fee. The hearing would have been undertaken at the last meeting. I only mentioned Victoria in reference to where I will be working as a pod. My real issue is with how long they will deliberate over the issue considering there would be few podiatrists reregistering at this time of year. AHPRA couldn't give me a timeframe and I was wondering if anyone could give me a ball-park figure, Cheers, Paul.
Dear Paul
Unfortunately I cannot help you with this
good luck, Time management is not one of the govt departments speciality
Slower the better, guarantees my Job!!!

Thanks anyway Paul. The actual response from AHPRA closed with "...we thank you for your patience in advance." Seems to me I might be waiting for awhile.
