Missing Left Feet!

    Now you have my full attention and thanks for the post I will seek out the book on 'floaters'. I recall reading about Scottish ornathologists on the Isle of Lewis who kept finding discarded flip flops on the shore. What took them to task was the majority sandals found on the North Island were for the left foot and visa versa for the South Island. After many hours puzzling the riddle they realised the shape of the shoe determined where it went in the prevailing currents.

    The junk discarded by thoughtless sandal manufacturers in Indonesia have clogged up the sun kissed islands in the Indian Ocean which are under the protection of the Australian Government. Recently the matter which has only got worse over the years almost caused a major political incident.
