Correción de dismetrías.

    Hola!!! Tengo una duda respecto a este tema... ¿Por qué las dismetrías siempre se corrigen a la mitad y no completamente? He buscado y no he encontrado nada...:confused:

    Me imagino que se refiere a la idea no sé si fundamentada en la evidencia o no, de la corrección al 50% del acortamiento real.
    Kirby escribía en uno de sus textos: "Si un paciente adulto presenta una asimetría en la longitud de las EE.II de 6,4mm que creo que debe tratarse mediante una ortesis plantar, entonces querré solo compensar la mitad del total, en otras palabras, hacer una ortesis 3,2mm mas gruesa que la otra."
