Every time someone walks over a Pavegen tile, renewable energy is harvested from the footstep. The technology converts the kinetic energy to electricity which can be stored and used for a variety of applications.

Pavegen successful completed a stadium installation with Hyundai in Australia, playing a key role in the launch of the Football A-League 2012/13 season. Enlisting the help of thousands of football fans who jumped, chanted and stamped on the Pavegen tiles to support their teams, the Pavegen technology allowed them to directly engage with their passion for sports. Their energy was used to power batteries for the TV remotes of key stakeholders, enabling more supporters to tune in globally.

Last Chrsitmas Santa's little helpers had a lot of fun dancing and jumping on Pavegen tiles in Westfield Sydney! Powering Australia's first people powered Christmas tree! In the first weekend of the installation Pavegen's tiles received 25,000 footsteps, generating over 100,000 joules of energy! Pavegen were responsible for powering the shopping mall's Christmas tree lights entirely from the shoppers' footsteps.
