Multiple factors affect running shoe selection

  2. One major point that may have been missed is the effect of running shoes on the bodies regulation of leg stiffness.

    As has been discussed on a few threads lately a softer shoe may lead to the body through CNS adjusting the leg stiffness, by making the leg more stiff which may or may not lead to injury. But an important point which could have been discussed especially with the changes which are occuring in the running world at the moment.
