    Hi Everyone,

    I have nearly completed a Podiatry course and I'm completing my last portfolio now then I do the clinical side and case study. I look forward to hearing from other students. I am studying with the Smae Institute. This is an online course and it has meant I could carry on working and study degree level courses.

    If anyone has got any information regarding the SOAPE system then that would be much appreciated. I am struggling to find internet refs as I need the authors names.

    I look forward to hearing from you further,

    With kind regards,

    Denise Russell

    Welcome to the Arena, Denise.

    I think your tutors may be referring to the SOAP note format used by many health professionals for a systematic approach to documenting what is sometimes known as;
    Said; what the pt said
    Observed; what you, the clinician saw
    Action; what you, the clinician did
    Plan; what short and long term treatment plan you formulated for this particular pt.

    A variance of this is; http://www.emrsoap.com/definitions/soap/
