    Hello, :D

my name is Erin Blundell, I am an Australian trained Podiatrist moving to the South Island in early June. I am looking for full time work commencing early-mid June, or failing that, locum work initially.

My Kiwi-fiancee and I will be living just outside of Oxford, and anticipate driving to Christchurch for work, or its surrounds if called for.

Since graduating in early 2005, I have worked in all aspects of Podiatry, including- Public & Private, basic routine care to high risk diabetic wound clinics, remote visits, biomechanics and sports, paediatrics and geriatics, nursing home/domicillary work, nail surgery etc.

So far I haven t been able to find any Vacancies online, and am hoping this is because vacancies are generally word-of-mouth, and not because there isn t any!

If anyone knows of any work :D, or has any hints as how I could/should go about finding work ;) please let me know via this forum, or at ezza_jb@hotmail.com

    Thanks for your time!!!

Hi Erin have you contacted Podiatry NZ, as there is a vacancy area for advertising.

    Hi Leigh,

    Thanks for the suggestion :D

yes I am aware of this option- at the moment I m trying not to pay the minimum $60 this will incur, given I ve just paid $2770 to be able to practise in NZ:wacko:

I m in the processing of mailing/emailing my CV to Canterbury podiatrists, but I realise I may need to pay for an advertisement if this turns nothing up.

    Cheers!

    Erin
