Rocky Balboa - Rocky IV (my favourite of the series)
Roy McAvoy - Tin Cup
Ty Webb - Caddyshack
Willie Beaman - Any Given Sunday

I haven't classed martial arts as a sport in this instance, purely as I've got so much love for martial arts films that I'd be here all day listing them

I remember seeing Cloughy being interviewed on Match of Day http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Match_of_the_Day , and upon the host trying to interrupt him he said something like:"young man, when I talk you listen" and continued to deliver a monologue for about a further five minutes (with host in silence). 'nuff said.
