Wilson Technique for Treatment of Hallux Valgus

    Desde 1994 llevo realizando unas 3.000 osteotomías Wilson para hallux valgus moderados y severos, con técnica de mínima incisión. Los pacientes guardan reposo relativo tres días y durante 21 usan calzado posquirúrgicos de suela dura. A partir de los día 22 a 25 pueden usar calzado deportivo o similar de cordones hasta completar 42-45 días. No hemos tenido necrosis avascular, tampoco no-union y la mayoría de los casos han sido bilaterales.
    Since 1994 I've been carrying around 3,000 osteotomies for hallux Wilson moderate and severe, with minimal incision technique valgus. Patients kept on three days rest for 21 postoperative use hard-soled shoes. From the day 22 to 25 can be used or the like sport footwear lacing 42-45 days to complete. We have not had avascular necrosis, non-union and not the majority of cases are bilateral.
