Default Volunteering in Ghana - support please

Podiatry Arena members do not see these ads
Hi,

This is my first post and what inspired me to write was a need to inform, share and ask for help and support with a project into Ghana, Africa.

My colleague and I will be spending time in Accra city, and Mafi Seva village clinic to provide podiatry education and treatment to Ghanaians in need.

We anticipate diabetic, Buruli, and many more ethologies of ulceration often found in developing countries.

We are looking for help with dressing sources, and donations no matter how small at our web page;

Also, advice from other podiatrists who have visited Ghana in the past is welcome.

Thank-you in anticipation of your help.

Regards

Welcome to Podiatry Arena Jane, I notice you have been a member since 2007. It sounds like exciting times ahead for you.

I recommend that you repost this by creating a "new thread" in a general forum. Not all members read the introductions.

Congrats on your venture and good luck.

Cheers Heather

Greetings Jane,

A while ago, Podiatry Now had an article about a Podiatrist going to one of the African countries (can't recall which one), and her experience there. She also mentioned how she got stuff sponsored. You may want to locate that article and read it, and then get in contact with that Podiatrist for more info. Good luck with your ventures.
