Risk factors for Sever's disease

    From the Australasian Podiatry Conference, Christchurch, New Zealand:

    Rolf Scharfbillig:
    Sever's Disease - What are the risk factors:


    Comparison of 67 Sever's with 236 Non-sever's.
    Found no differences in:
    1. Bodyweight
    2. Activity levels
    3. Ankle joint dorsiflexion

    They did differ on forefoot to rearfoot alignment

    (This study sites nicely with our previous thread on Is Sever's a Stress Fracture)
