Recently it has come to my attention some individuals are claiming to be Certified Pedorthist and in fact they may not.

Some companies are claiming to have Certified Pedorthist on staff and they may not.

If a person or company comes to your clinic or are working in conjunction with your clinic and have made such claims, dont except the claim.

Ask for their certificate and see that they do appear on the current register as a Certified Pedorthist and at what level they are qualified to work at.

I agree with boots n all. Only those that are certified Pedorthist have done what it takes and have committed to a continuing education process. This is enhancing quality of outcome, accountability and better service to the public.

The industry in the US needs tighter regulation
