    Hey all - newbie here!

Not a current podiatrist but hoping to become one :) should be starting college in September and will be a mature student at the ripe age of 24. :D
Really glad I discovered this career after being hindered for many years with bad health. It now gives me a feeling of security of excitement after years of uncertainty!

Found myself stumbling across this forum, so had a sniff around and decided to join as you all seem like really nice guys! :drinks

It might also interest you all that I'm also a dancer - which a lot of people find amusing because of my plans to be a foot specialist

Maybe I'll name myself 'The Dancing Podiatrist' when I'm qualified?!

Look forward to joining in with the convo! :)

Welcome! Yes lots of arches to sort out! Nice one Craig!

I read the tag, mature age student. And you are only 24! Made me smile :)

Good luck with your dancing and feet!

    Hello Hello!

i started Podiatry at the "mature" age of 23 after having complete an honours degree in Musical Theatre! so yes i am (or was) a dancer too. i have just entered the professional podiatry world and i am excited for my future.

I think you and i will have much in common, keep in touch!

All the best for your course! dont forget about the dancing (because hardly anyone talks/lectures about it)!

oh and https://www.iadms.org/?page=A8 ..... IADMS, another great association to get involved with. i will be presenting at the next conference in august!!!
