X-rays required for surgery of Tailors bunion

    Just wondering what x-rays surgeons [in Australia] prefer when referring patients for assessment of a Tailor's bunion?
    Do the images requested vary depending on a patient's age?

    Weightbearing anterior-posterior (i.e. dorsal-plantar), lateral and medial oblique radiographs are most commonly ordered here in the States for evaluation of Tailor's bunion deformity.

    As with about 90% of all pre-operative films, as Kevin says, get weight-bearing AP, Lateral and MO views.
