Default Change of Name of the HPC‏

Hi all,

I have just read the latest HPC Newsletter to find, that form Wed 1st August 2012, they will be changing their name to Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) following a change which is being made by the Health and Social Care Act 2012. A revised logo can be found on their website and publications. The new web address will change to www.hcpc-uk.org and email addresses will end ‘@hcpc-uk.org’.

I find it annoying that public bodies / agencies can just change their name that easy with little or no notice at all. Now everyone in Private Practice will have to spend money changing website links, paperwork, business literature etc.

Cheers,
Andre
