Contracture muscles

    Hello everybody, I´d like to know articles or studies speaking about how lower limb contracture muscles can affect to foot biomechanic, thanks.

    There is always: Basmajian: Muscles Alive: Their Functions Revealed by Electromyography Williams & Wilkins; 5th edition (June 1985)

    Root et al in Vol2 took some of Basmajian's earlier work and put together a very good hyppthetical model of how the muscles affected lower limb function: Normal and Abnormal Function of the Foot. Los Angeles ML Root, WP Orien, JH Weed - Clinical Biomechanics Corp, 1977
