    Meb Keflezighi at 39 years young, that is quite an accomplishment!!

    It is funny you mentioned he heel strikes, as he certainly does. When I went on the Skechers website and watched the clip on Meb, I instantly thought he looks like a heel striker in a proposed mid foot striking designed shoe. Must be why they added a rocker heel LOL, just in case ;)

    I only mentioned it to have a dig at all the midfoot/forefoot striking fan boys.
    We had a previous thread on it: Meb Keflezighi Heel Strikes His Way to a 2:09 Boston Marathon from his 2011 Boston marathon win

    His win is going to be a good boost for Skechers; the running shoe geeks have been having trouble taking them seriously due to the baggage associated with the brand name ... this is starting to turn around.

    This also cool: Marathon men’s winner has names of victims on bib

    Just read that Skechers running shoe sales were up 21% in the first q of 2014 ... and that was before Mebs win!
