i live in the UK & would appreciate advice re obtaining liquified phenol for nail surgery rather than the 'swabs' which now seem all the rage. recently left the NHS where supply was not a problem but now in private practice not sure who to try as i believe is restricted to medics & dentists??

Have been doing nail surgery for 30 years so a 'lack of phenol' is a new situation for me!

    cheers

Your local nhs hospital pharmacy should be able to supply it to you (and the la) If you explain to them that you used to work for the nhs and show relevant qualified to practice paperwork (HPC cert, maybe) then they should open an acct for you. I know my hospital here does and the hospital where i worked in Surrey did too.
