Hi, Does anyone know of a first aid course including anaphylaxis management - based in Victoria, for non APODA podiatrists.

I tried to register for the APODA course - but unfortunately their courses are not open to non members. As I have recently emigrated from the UK - I have kept my HPC and SOCAP registration inc insurance, and am also AHPRA registered. I would prefer to avoid the costs of joining APODA for the time being.

    Many thanks Wendy

I thought non-APodA members could do the APodA run first aid courses but at a much higher cost???

Anyway, I just moved this thread from the General to the Australia forum and noticed several First Aid course turn up in the Google adverts - anyone of those will probably be suitable provided that they meet the Boards first aid requirements (see this thread for some discussion on teh first aid requirements)

Wendy simply contact Surf Life Saving Australia or St Johns Ambulance - they will have cheap courses located in many locations you can attend.

Thanks Craig. I think I am on the right track now. I will be on your Boot Camp in August. See you then. Wendy

If you need first aid certificate, you need to enrol in CBD College First Aid Training Organisation in Australia
