Dremel 7700

    Hi. Im looking for a dom drill and noticed that chiropody express is selling the dremel 7700 with the multi chuck. Has anyone had experience of using it. If not can anyone recommend a reasonably priced dom drill. Thanks

    i have had a dremel 751 using 4 rechargable AA batteries for many years and it has been great. i us these these throw away carborundum cylindrocal burrs with it. no dust extracior of course but i have got to pension age without any lung symptoms

    I've recently purchased this drill from Amazon for £110.

    It ships from the USA and comes with an American power cable and UK adapter, but you can replace the cable with any standard 'kettle' socket, or even buy a 5m long cable from eBay for about £3.

    I've been using it for about a month, and am very pleased with it. The drill handle is small and easy to maneuver and is very quiet. The main box is quite small and fits easily into my dom bag.

    I've used it on both single use burrs and autoclavable units. It has forward and reverse for left or right handed. From my experience, this is as good as other drills in the £500 range.
