I'm salivating here "Tour de France" the BIGGEST sporting event internationally only 2 months away!
Better start training for it myself - the late nights, the bleary eyes...terribly inconvenient that it clashes with work.

And bkelly11, nice little striker mcdonald, pity there's a team called rangers! You deserve the stick from what my victorian friends/relatives tell me, and yeah, having a genome ~50% scottish , I like to barrack for Scotland myself.
Hows the relatives/friends??

The Crusaders have done it again - they the champs for another year (7th championship from the 12 years the comp has been running! ... has any other sports team achieved this?)

I hear your getting McKenzie as coach, just what your boys need, an ex-Aussie front rower to show your boys the finer points of the great game! They'll need it if they play like they did tonight next year, very lucky, very lucky!
Munster would cane them badly!

: Torres' flash of steel and skill dispatches laboured Germans

By Sam Wallace at Ernst Happel Stadion,Vienna
Monday, 30 June 2008

MARTIN MEISSNER/AP
Spain's Fernando Torres scores the winning goal past German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann in the Euro 2008 final in Vienna last night

One burst of acceleration, a change of direction, a flick past Jens Lehmann and a stumble to stay on his feet: so Fernando Torres won Euro 2008 last night with a moment of brilliance. It epitomised the flair, panache and style which Spain have stood for at this tournament and it was the moment when their brightest young matador dispatched a very stubborn, cantankerous old bull.

Congratulations Spain

Congrats All-Blacks, an 'awesome' (as in slang "very impressive") performance, the forwards led by McCaw (what an inspiration), Williams turned up this week! Behind that pack Cowan and Carter having a 'field day'! Nonu also remembering what he does best! Feeling better Admin?
