Default Guinness World Records: Longest Toenails

I don't know what the waiting list for foot care services is like in California, but Louise Hollis hasn't cut her toe nails in 21 years!!

Now if more people could take this approach, the current shortages, waiting lists etc.etc, could possibly be eliminated

The nails were an average of just over 15cm each a total of 2.21 meters when the record was claimed. But this pales compared with the longest fingernails at a total of 7.51 meters

The Guinness World record site has the full story as well as a video

"Vanity thy name is woman" or is she just plain nuts, or WHY???? Must be very uncomfortable to walk. Did the nails curl under her toes, so she was walking on the nails or were they straight?
Footwear?

The list of questions go on.

All the patients I have removed extremely long nails from have had some form of dementia or incapable of cutting their own nails due to aging. The nail collections in my posession are only up to 5-10 year of growth and only 50mm in length (measured at free end).

This has to be the best forum. :)
Where do you all find this stuff.

Me I love nails, perhaps sad but we pods should have some fun.
Who would cut them?

Took me an hour once but by chance last week only 40 mins, practice makes perfect?

Bob

Don ESWT

I can't believe there is someone else other than me who has a collection of toenails. I figured I was the only one. I have some real beauties let me tell you. Two hallux nails which are over 6" in length, and that is just the cut part! In fact, I just got a few more for my collection yesterday.

I was kind of thinking about putting them in a shadow box in the waiting room, kind of like a collection of insects :-) Maybe we can have them made into some sort of collage?

NAH better not!
