Hi,
i want to study podiatry at University next year. Can someone give me a few points on what to put or leave out on my personal statement. I am new to this profession and i am currently studying biology at college, so i would appreciate if someone gives me a depth in the subject.
Thank you.

Good luck to you. I hope that you have requested some work shadowing with your local nhs podiatry dept or private practicioner so that you can appreciate the wide range of treatments that we can offer. Personal statements should include emphasis on communication skills, evidence of working well in a team (eg. sports), enthusiasm, wanting to work with people as professionals and members of the public. It always helps if you can draw on any personal experiences that you can relate to podiatry or just health care in general. Hope this is of some help and not too late,
Regards
KLunn
