Podiatry Arena members do not see these ads

I am looking at buying a practice and possibly getting a digital x-ray system . what are the thoughts on digital systems... what is good? what am I looking at for expenses.

I've recommended going to digital to most of my clients. No hassles with chemicals and EPA (increasingly problematic east and west coast). Wonderful clinically. Cost over its life is a wash compared to chemical processing. You can see things on digital you'll never see on film, so clincally I like it very much. Can be pricey to get going, mostly because you will need a second server. Running about $25,000 soup to nuts (including computer hardware) the last time I checked.

Some units are better than others - most of my clients are going with Allpro, with Tigerview software.
