The NHS has plans in place for actions in the event of pandemic disease, bird flu being the most well known. This includes an alert system to let NHS staff know if an outbreak occurs. Such an alert has been issued so i am passing it on so that we can all be ready.
32 patients in London have recently tested positive for "gauisus lingua"*. These patients have been isolated and are undergoing treatment however it is not known if the disease has spread.
