I wondering whether anyone working within the NHS is using exemptions to the POMS act to access steroid for joint injections?
If so, how has this worked within your dept? Are you working with other depts such as Orthopaedics/Rheumatology to try and decrease waiting times for these departments?
I would like to hear from anyone who has done this as we are keen in my trust to try and bring something like this in.
