Interview? They will accept anyone because there are so many applicants who can do so many more things with their lives than saddle themselves with endless student loans, lack of recognition as a bonafide medical specialty which has after I don't know how many years has failed and failed again to gain any acceptance in the overall general medical community. Beside the naysayers that say us naysayers are just lackluster jerks muddying the water for potential new DPMs read podiatry-bytes or one of the other sites that takes you on a journey of what podiatry is really all about and you'll find out why all the political mumbo jumbo and the divergent scope of practice from state to state in the US is overwhelmingly insance and you will look that pod school fair in the eye and say: "What guarantees are there that I will find meaningful work when I get my DPM degree?"
In the lack of an answer or the high and mighty exposition that life is what you make it you might find that making a career of something you have not researched to be one of life's little secrets-hing...Look before you leap.
