I went on a cruise trip to bahamas for the new year. Before leaving i went to the US embassy website to get the list of emergency medical numbers,etc. and i found out that there are Podiatrists in bahamas. ...

That would be nice if any of the residence had health insurance!
I can tell you having been to Bahamas (the best of the group as far as economy) st. Thomas, St. John, St. Martin (french and dutch sides) turks, Dominican, St Lucia, etc..... practice there for the weather and wonderful setting but not for the money!
