Does anyone know of any good online anatomy sites? I have "Primal" software which is for below knee which is excellent, but I'm wanting something for above knee.

Mark:

Why not try purchasing at least one good anatomy textbook? You will use it for the rest of your practice career, and you won't have to have your computer on to use it!

Also the following may prove to be useful.

Not wishing to imply any disrespect to either Kevin or Craig but there may be occasions when your library is not on hand but your PC may be.

Surely if education is achieved then the outcome is the same?

Regards,

Mandy.

I purchased the primal interactive sports series as well as the interactive foot and ankle. The sports Knee disk includes up the thigh but not really the hip. They do make an interactive hip though. I know you can subscribe for online access but I prefer the disks.

I have them set up on my computer and they are great for explaining the injury or scans to the patient. It also helps to reinforce the anatomy to me each time. I think patients have more confidence in you as a practitioner if you can explain things so they can understand and the visual explanation is most effective.

I didn't give enough info & maybe others made certain assumptions. I do have my own anatomy text books. My brother who is a very keen cyclist wanted a good online anatomy website for his own use. Yes, he could go out & purchase his own book but as a software engineer who spends his whole day on a computer, he thought I might know of a website that he could refer to for his own use. It would be more convenient for him.

Mandy's links are really good. If he is willing to pay then it is hard to beat the Primal Pictures website. He would then have access to the whole body.

Link here.
