Im looking for a surgery reference book and have been recommended 2 but I can only afford one as they are expensive, so which would be the best one to get? The 2 books are:

1. Surgery of the Foot and Ankle by Coughlin
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Surgery-Foot...3943535&sr=8-2

2. McGlamry's Comprehensive Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery
http://www.amazon.co.uk/McGlamrys-Co...943535&sr=8-16

All opinions welcome

Have you seen this one?

Practices of Podiatric Medicine Second Edition.

31% of this book is on surgery. You can even view chapter 17 in its entirety.

I don't know how any holy trinity of podiatric-related texts cannot include;

Fundamentals of Pedicure and Nail Polish Application, by Sinnical & Lying

I'm sure our GP friends think that is all that we need on our shelves...
