My wife is doing a Podiatry Assistant's course in Adelaide. A lot of it is to do with practice procedures & they are required to access "material safety data sheets" (MSDS) for products/substances used in the practice. These have been difficult to track down particularly for orthotic materials. She requires an MSDS for "Spenco" which the orthotic lab we use & the Spenco suppliers we have contacted do not have. Not sure if that means it's not available (but supposedly all materials need an MSDS these days). Does anyone have access to this MSDS?
The supplier is responsible for supplying it, and they also need one themselves for their own OH&S compliance. Also the MSDS that you have locally is suppose to be the one provided by the supplier. And remeber that they must be no more than 5 years old. I have MSDS for Poron and EVA, but as I don't use spenco, I don't have one for that.

Stephen is right in that your suppliers are the ones responsible for supplying these data sheets. With the sheer variety of materials and cements I use among our offices, my folder is now a 4" binder. Should you not get anywhere with your supplier or Spenco, you may want to try contacting American Plastics (www.americanoandp.com). They no longer have a PDF file for Spenco's MSDS; however, there is a page for their neoprene:

I think Briggate sell Spenco, so they should have a sheet on it.
