Band 5
Salary £20,225-£26,123

Bournemouth and Poole are located in the beautiful county of Dorset on the South Coast of England. The area has something for everyone, from the vibrant university town of Bournemouth, to the beautiful coastline and sandy beaches; with the New Forest and Purbecks on the doorstep.

Due to continued major and exciting expansion of our services, we are looking to recruit a further range of podiatrists:

2 Band 5 – Community Podiatrists

If you are a motivated, enthusiastic podiatrist with excellent clinical skills, good team working and communication skills, then you may be just the person we are looking for to join our progressive department.

We offer opportunities for flexible working wherever possible; rotations through specialist areas including diabetes and nail surgery; support for staff through CPD, team meetings and clinical supervision. We have an appointed mentor for recently qualified staff, and assist in the training of student podiatrists. All posts will involve working in a variety of settings. As such, you must be able to travel throughout the PCT’s geographical boundaries, and the ability to work flexibly is essential.

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK

Closing date for applications is 1 April 2009

For an informal discussion please contact:

Chris Kennedy
Deputy Director
Clinical Interface and Podiatry Services

Closing date: TBC
