The more force you need, the bigger a skive you prescribe.

I was going to upload the original paper here, but, for some reason, the Podiatry Arena server won't let me. If you want a pdf copy of the paper, you mail e-mail me privately and I would be happy to send you one.

When you get the chance, if you could send me a copy or link, I'd appreciate it. It seems ironic that I'm actually adding the original kirby skive last to my code, instead of first, albeit enhanced a bit to produce the desired blend into the original surface.

  7. It's on the way. I still can't make any attachments to Podiatry Arena any more. Anyone else having the same problem??

I haven't tried to attach files before, just images and embedded videos. No luck what-so-ever in the embedded videos. I'll have to see how everyone else is doing it, eventually. My own kirby skive routines currently allow for lateral and medial skives as well as linear and non-linear blending into the original surface, which is already compatible with your design, except that I need to set kirbyx=0.333 and write some code to derive an angle from a depth, instead of a depth from an angle. Some was lost in the translation when I was taught how heel skives are made, and ironicly, most labs prefer to start the skive just medial of center, instead of on the lateral trisection. I think they're doing this for comfort while sacrificing slightly some functionality.
