Default PL enthesopathy - valgus forefoot post?

what is your opinion on putting a valgus extension on the lateral side of the forefoot for patients with PL tendonitis. I have seen some people add some felt to patients existing orthotics on the lateral forefoot to relieve the PL.

thanks

If supination resistance is low, then lateral wedging (esp under heel) invariably works every time.

And what if supination resistance is high, is lateral wedging contraindicated?

I have only ever seen peroneal tendonitis in those in which supination resistance is low.
