Default T-Acid and Nail surgery

Podiatry Arena members do not see these ads
Hi,

I have recently moved to a new private practice and found that instead of using phenol for nail matrix ablation they use trichloracetic acid for a period of 1 min.

I have tried it now a few times and am unsure as to the amount needed, also the delivery system that should be used to gain maximum effect.

It would be a great helpif anyine else as more information on this technique such as amount needed, delivery system, if there are any dangers and its effectiveness.

thank you

steve
