Yeah, and Kevin twisted mine 12 months later. "Time, won't leave me as I am; time, won't take the boy out of this man." City of Blinding Lights- U2

Happy Birthday y'all. It's a shame that this had to kill a discussion forum, to become a discussion forum.

My arm stayed untwisted. My first post was june 2006 and I pitched in just before one of the really heated MASS / Ed Glaser threads.

It was the one which contains what remains one of the top rants of all time. Anywhere. I won't bother to credit the author, I think we all know

Quote:
Kevin is too polite, but I'm not: You can shove your blatent product plugging up your arse for nothing and **** off while you're doing it, you are nothing more than a door to door salesman and about as welcome here. You cannot build arguments to engage in academic debate to save your life and when the questions get too tough you either go on "vacation" or just ignore them. My colleagues and I have critiqued your concepts for all to see. The ball is in your court now-go do the research, but stop trying to drag everyone down with you. I shall not write anymore here as I believe we are becoming complicit (go look it up) in helping you to promote your product- no publicity is bad publicity hey? I've watched the DVD and quite frankly I've had better laughs watching children burn. I spurn you as I would spurn a rabid dog. Ladies and gentleman, Never mind treating my feet, I wouldn't trust this man to sit the right way round on a toilet seat.
It was like stumbling across a top flight sports match with the best teams in the world, who you've been following for years, in your local park. And then being told you can join in if you like.

Whats not to love?

Happy days. Thanks Craig. Here's to the next 5.

Regards
Robert

It's also a shame that cassette player technology had to kill my eight track stereo tape player in my Ford Maverick when I was in high school!

Technology advances and communication avenues change - and when they do we hope it is for the better!

Happy 5TH & here's to many more.

PS. If anyone has noticed (or enjoyed the peace) recently, it is because my clinic computer is very ill <-- (piggy flu of the lap-top variety) & has gone to be a. blown up, b. repaired, c. given medicine to make the bloody thing work again!

I'll be back

Wow how time flies when you are in the company of friends. It doesn't seem that long ago when I spent time lurking as a student.
Here are some drinks for those who do and coffee for those who don't sorry couldn't get a cake.
