Default Vasospastic foot condition w/bush walking

Any help would be appreciated here:

I had a 52 year old woman present the other day with, normal foot condition, nil pain, normal joint ROM, well palpable pulses, nil medical history, nil medication. Though previously walked the milford track in NZ and after day 2 (20k walk) had red erythematous areas on the WB areas of here feet, she was saying they felt like 'glass' +++ sore etc. Granted this is a tough walk, but on previous training walks had found nil problems. Boots were not laced too tightly, she wore two pairs of socks and the conditions weren't wet. Though when taking history noted that feet sometimes swell in hot conditions.

I'm a bit confused here, that it hasn't come back and that now she is not in any pain, but was obviously of concern. Has anyone else had anything of similar symptom pattern? I was thinking possibly some sort of vasospastic condition? ?also shocks abs ?microcirculation to feet.

Hi
could it have been a possible slight dermatitis problem?
sweat with walking + sock material + overhydrated epidermis = sore plantar weightbearing area? She may have bought new socks for the walk.
Detergent from socks penetrating the epidermis similar to juvenile plantar dermatitis.
Only an idea but i had a northern soul dancer present with similar probs.
Turned out to be unwashed new socks after loads of deliberation.
