Red face UK pod looking for some domestic advice in NZ please

Podiatry Arena members do not see these ads
Good day, having browsed the site for some time, I have finally joined and here is my first post, hopefully not too foot in mouth (excuse pun)!

Having spent 10 years in London offering bio-mechanical and sporting focused assesments, I have happily decided with my NZ wife to migrate to your fair lands. Permitting succesful application with oyur home office and passing with Podiatry NZ board, I hope to set up a small practice, and here I am getting a little stuck for information gathering.

My holiday time in NZ has always been just that, so now that I am seeking best pod suppliers and tools and information I am in some darkness.

Am seeking info on:

Most popular suppliers of Pod tools, analysis equipment, and orthotics (custom, and off the shelf) plus materials...

... and any little inside knowledge on domestic market (in confidence) relative to regional demand aspects.

If anyone is able to discuss in total confidence by PM, or post a few links to favorite suppliers and why they like them would be supremely beneficial and appreciated.

Kind thanks in advance, George.

I've been watching a few TV programs about New Zealand & it looks beautiful. Not a bit jealous here in chilly Yorkshire

All the very best for your move overseas.

Kind regards,

Mandy

About a month ago I got to experience NZ myself. There's a mountain their that this twisted brain interpreted as a planetary pimple (image 1424 ) It's a beautiful country.

Hi George
I see Ian has beaten me with a reply, but these are who I use -
Bentra for most day to day supplies and equipment, they are very helpful and stock alot of the mobilis range from the UK - www.bentra.co.nz
Crown dental and medical is another similar supplier www.crowndent-med.co.nz
Orthotics - foot bionics www.footbionics.com
formthotics wwwformthotics.co.nz
footfunction can't find a website
trithotics and casted from Tim Ganley www.ganleyorthotics.co.nz
orthotic materials like eva, multiform, neoline etc www.foamalone.co.nz

Hope this helps
