However, if you can bear to read this article, there appears to be one of our own involved in this one........a chap called Dr. Dave Cook, Lecturer in Podiatric Biomechanics in London (a profession which the journalist struggles with accepting actually existed!). Not only that, however, he also apparently has 'buttocks you could bounce a quarter off', which apparently was one of the criteria for getting the job of developing the 'fitflop'.
I haven't looked up any other info on the actual mechanics of the shoe yet, but wondered if anyone knew who Dr. Cook is? Does he have 'buns of steel'? And could he be tempted onto the the forum to talk us through what the fitflop does?!
