40 year old man
low activity levels (plays golf at weekend)
pain/tightness after rest and in morning around both ankles, and dorsal lateral area of foot, right more so than left. (pain after golf)
patient has ganglion like mass over both incertions of extensor digitrum brevis, right more so than left. present in normal stance but disappears when muscle active.
painful to palpate, and with dosiflexion resistance.
